We have VC 4.3 Premium that we are using mainly for virtual commisioning and digital twin purposes.

We have worked with FANUC but the next project[文]s will integra[章]te KUKA robots.[来] Our idea is to buy OfficeL[自]ite and connect[网] the virtual[淘] control[巴]ler to VC as we did with FANUC Robogui[文]de. Is this enough?[章] What are the connect[来]ivity options[自] with OfficeL[网]ite.

I&rsquo[自];ve used OPC.UA to connect[网] VC to OfficeL[淘]ite. Then the Kuka System Softwar[巴]e option was called “[文]Kuka.OP[章]C UA&rdqu[来]o;. But I heard that now the OPC.UA would be include[自]d in option “[网]Device Connect[淘]or&rdqu[巴]o;.

Thanks for your fast reply! It&rsqu[文]o;s good to know that we have OPC UA option in the robots and that it works in OfficeL[章]ite.

As KUKA has a very strong relatio[来]nship with VC, I was expecti[自]ng a “[网]better&[淘]rdquo; communi[巴]cation option,[文] we experie[章]nced very laggy communi[来]cations[自] when using OPC UA with Robogui[网]de.

hello,can you tell me how to connect FANUC roboguide with VC through the OPC UA server? I have roboguide v9.0,but it seems that it only has the OPC Server?

Hi @killyouz, you should be able to discover the Roboguide OPC UA server on:
opc.tcp://127.0.0.1:4880/FANUC/NanoUaServer
